The Cape Vulture (Gyps coprotheres)
Although the birds are quite large, it isn’t that easy to take close up shots from free ranging animals. They are very cautious at carcasses and most pictures are therefore taken from blinds close to vulture restaurants. These pictures are taken in the Giant`s Castle Game Reserve, Kwazulu Natal, South Africa.
