“Nina” was the first bird we caught on the 14th of January. After a long day of sitting in the hide, we were happy to get at least one transmitter deployed. Nina seems to be quite curious. She was the first one to wander off the colony and visit other places. Unfortunately, blood samples showed that she had very high lead values. Nina died from electrocution before Christmas 2013.
