By now, we have wing-tagged 72 birds at the colony near Oribi Gorge. Sixteen birds additionally carried a GPS transmitter for some time. One transmitter was put on a bird at Collywobbles colony in the Eastern Cape. The transmitters are solar powered and according to the manufacturer (www.eobs.org) we expect a proper functionality for at least three years.We would like to introduce you to the sixteen guys and provide some individual information.
