A gallery of amazing photos taken at the Giant‘s Castle Game Reserve, South Africa. At the food bonanzas for vultures in the Drakensberg region, one can observe these amazing birds while feeding on provided carcasses. Besides the mere observation and close encounter of the birds it is a great experience to also observe the manyfold inter- and infraspecific interactions of several species of scavengers.
For your interest, also take a look at the vulture hide situated at the Oribi Gorge, Kwazulu-Natal, the home of our tracked vultures (vulturehide.blogspot.de).
